about
Cry Of My Heart, abbreviated C.O.M.H, is a repertoire of Christian music. Entirely written and performed by the artist Dàrig, these songs are based on Psalm 34, verse 16: "The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cries." Here is the precision of salvation that emanates from the covenant with God. Materialized here by the artist, through the cry "A ne yah!", Rhetoric found in the Fang dialect.
Each of these titles reflects, by its thematic scope, multiple and varied dimensions of specific expression of the heart. Affirmation not to be taken literally. For if it is from the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45), God takes charge, as the text of Hebrews 8:10 invites us to do, in the name of his covenant with the one who accepts it. as his Lord and Supreme Savior, to provide him in abundance and therefore to fill him.
It is therefore justifiable for this repertoire, composed of five songs, to address subjects such as the affirmation of Christian identity, the new birth and therefore the life that follows. In this case, that of the Christian's mission. This is the case with the title Identity. The second song, C.O.M.H, clearly indicates the dependence of every individual on heavenly action centered on Jesus as a holistic response to the salvation of mankind. Christ “Messi”, God made man and having lived among his fellows, is twice presented here as the Link of horizontality, or Bridge (in his human dimension). But also as the Link of verticality, ladder, staircase or ascender towards God The Father (in his divine dimension). It is in this perspective that the third song, Es El Grande, is inscribed, which in fact seals its superiority, its timelessness and unsurpassability as both God and Man. So how can we not invoke it, as the artist does so well with this satirical lament that the title Explain to me? This text is about denouncing the injustices experienced by the oppressed peoples of the world, at the local level; as a whole, and the African people in a specific way. But also foreign interference which very often constitutes its basis. Which participating in their decline. In addition, to suggest a way out, not by violence, but by a dynamic awareness, calm and participatory. In other words, to do useful work through conscientious action. The author describes here, his vision of politics made in Gospel. Here is a cry of intercession raised to the Savior Jesus. And finally, the last track in the repertoire, Elongue azali, mentions the victorious reign of Jesus Christ. El-Elyon that is to say The Most High God, a statement that can be found in the biblical text of Phillipians 2, verses 9 to 11. If God is thus lifted up in hearts and lives, such The Brazen Serpent of Moses in the desert, and which enabled the healing, the salvation of the people of Israel; the victory is only the hidden face.
